Apartment Search

We are hoping to finish our apartment search this week.  I have spent all day yesterday and today either on the phone with landlords or searching online for our next home.

We'd like a more urban environment so the kids and I can walk to more places.  An apartment near to Jimmy's work would be ideal.  We could go for weeks without using the car.

I would love to live in Archstone Apartments in Kendall Square, Cambridge.  This is a design that suits me well.  Unfortunately it is out of the price range right now.

Homemade Pasta

I love the taste and texture of fresh pasta.  So when I saw some recipes in Cookie magazine, I decided to try one for lunch yesterday.  We attempted a homemade orecchiette.  The boys enjoyed kneading and shaping dough.

Results were disappointing, however, as the pasta was chewy, dense, and lacking in flavor.  We'll try again tonight with homemade egg noodles.
