Pear and Feta Salad

Inspired by a Boston Globe Magazine article, I created this delicious salad.  This is probably the fourth time I've made it in the last two weeks.

It consists of: romaine lettuce; chopped fresh scallions, chives, and parsley; chopped pears and grape tomatoes; and feta cheese.  I top it with a homemade balsamic vinaigrette that includes fresh squeezed lemon juice and minced garlic.

Together with whole wheat bread hot out of the oven, it constituted today's delicious and satisfying lunch!
